There are a lot of parts to a printer but most problems are attributed to a select few. We have collected some of the more common parts for these machines below. Be aware that the Apple LaserWriter II uses mostly LaserJet II parts but, at the very least, the formatter and covers are different.

Reading Part Numbers

Part numbers that are formatted like AB1-2345 are Canon part numbers. Numbers that have a 12345-67890 format are HP numbers. HP numbers often required an exchange core and you may find these parts with a Canon number as well but these are the numbers we used back in the day.
